Afghan Canadian Islamic Community

Afghan Canadian Islamic Community (ACIC) is a registered non-profit charitable organization serving the Toronto, ON area with comprehensive cultural, social, and religious programs. Since its establishment in 1989 and official registration with the Government of Canada in 1991, ACIC has grown to serve approximately 1,400 families and individual members, along with hundreds of additional community participants. The organization provides a diverse range of specialized services designed to meet the needs of Afghan immigrants and their families while fostering community integration and spiritual growth.

ACIC's service offerings include cultural programs that celebrate Afghan traditions and heritage, youth programs designed to engage younger community members, social services that support families and individuals, Maktab education for religious instruction, a community library, and funeral services. These programs are structured around the organization's core mission: to help community members make a positive difference by educating, inspiring, and empowering them through educational and cultural initiatives.
