Afghan-American Women's Association

The Afghan-American Women's Association (A-AWA) provides comprehensive social and cultural services designed to support Afghan families in the Washington Metropolitan area. Operating as a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 2009, A-AWA delivers evidence-based programming through its flagship Life and Cope educational initiative, which addresses self-growth, emotional well-being, and practical life skills development.
